The Portland Clean Energy Fund is like a Green New Deal for Portland, and it needs our support!

Some background:

Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) passed the ballot in 2018 with overwhelming support, and is on its way to being implemented. It imposes a 1% surcharge on mega-retailers that do more than a billion dollars of business annually, and uses that money to fund clean energy, weatherization, sustainable agriculture, and workforce development projects that support local low income communities and communities of color. It is a huge success, and is a landmark achievement in the climate movement. Unfortunately, big businesses are still attacking it! Come to Portland City Hall to show support for what many call ‘Portland’s Green New Deal’!
